Through an SB-9 lot split, the Oak Hill Residences achieve the maximum allotted density by proposing two single family residences, each with an attached ADU, on a lot that would otherwise be zoned for a single residence.

Each residence is divided into four quadrants in order to reduce the perceived size of the project. These cascading masses step down in height in tandem with the hillside topography. The entrances, balconies and larger openings occur in the wood clad elements between the more solid volumes.
